Common Questions

Before you set sail

Everything you need to know before reaching out. Can't find your answer? Get in touch — we respond within hours.

We help you find sunset cruises, private charters, island exploration trips, sailing experiences, and fishing expeditions — most departing from Edgartown Harbor. We'll match you with the right local operator based on your group and interests.

Start by reaching out through our contact form or email. Tell us about your group, preferred dates, and what kind of experience you're after. We'll follow up with personalized recommendations, availability, and pricing.

Not at all. The operators we recommend use USCG-licensed captains who handle everything — navigation, safety, local knowledge. You just relax and enjoy the water.

The primary season runs May through October, with peak availability June through September. Some operators offer off-season experiences by special arrangement — reach out and ask.

Take the Steamship Authority ferry from Woods Hole to Vineyard Haven (45 min), then a 15-minute drive to Edgartown. Seasonal ferries also run to Oak Bluffs from Hyannis.
